About the Oriental Treatments
|
Oriental medicine and alternative medicine are similar in treating high blood pressure(hypertension). But none of them alone are able to lower it satisfactorily. Because of loss of effectiveness when going alone, both of them shold be conducted simulataneously as well as harmoniously to get the maximun result. This is why
we get both of them mixed and united and creat a new integrated therapy to treat high blood pressure.
Acupuncture, herbs, moxibustion, massage therapy and others being used in oriental medicine have their own value in treating hypertension. However, they don't seem to exercise enough influences on normalizing it enough. This explaines why we estimate integrated medicine is more excellent than each one alone.

How Vitamin D works with us
|
What has been known about the function of vitamin D so far is that vitamin D helps osteoporosis patients by increasing bone density, that deficient vitamin D may cause rickets, that we make it from sunshine, and that vitamin D is added to dairy products. However, there are recent reports newly discovered about how it works.
It turns out that vitamin D may normalize the blood pressure by getting in movement of calcium across the cell membrane, relaxing arterial walls. If this were not enough, science reveals that proper distribution of calcium in every cell through the cell membrane eventually result in the balance of the cell's electrical potential thus helping to restore the endothelial tones, relax arterial muscles and balance the vessel streams out.
Vitamin D receptors are almost in every tissue of the body. Metabolic syndrome, congestive heart failure, insulin release are some of examples of imbalances that can be protected by the sufficient vitamin D. Some readers who have read "Alternative causes of hypertension" on our site probably have been reminded how important it is to control the metabolic syndrome and insulin production in the body for reversing the high blood pressure. Yes, it is vitally
important.
Sometimes the commonsense is wrong. We have been given false sense of "security" in many ways such as fortification of common foods like milk via synthetic vitamins. Real vitamin D is D3 or cholecalciferol that we produce in the skin and consume in the diet, not the D2 or ergocalcifero, added to dairy products as a tortifier, that is produced by irradiating fungi and is less effective and more toxic.
